Introduction of ceramic filter plate:
1. Process and purpose: The ceramic filter plate uses the three-dimensional network structure and the organic foam connected with the pores as the carrier, and invades it into the thixotropic aluminum oxide material slurry. The four-square correction center distance full-automatic extrusion process is used to make the slurry evenly spread on the foam skeleton of the carrier, and is baked at 1180 ℃ after drying and curing. It is installed in the filter box to filter the impurities in aluminum alloy liquid and meet the requirements of producing aviation, transportation and other aluminum alloy precision casting with high added value and high technical performance. Such as: computer hard disk, PS plate base for printing, can-making materials, jet turbine fan blades and other products.
Basic structure: ceramic filter plate consists of plate base, positioning seat, water outlet, surface facial mask, etc.
1. The ceramic filter plate is one of the core components of the ceramic filter. It is a new type of porous functional ceramic material. It is filled with crisscross and interconnected capillary micropores (about 1~10 microns in diameter). They are the channels of the filtrate. This component is called the plate base. 2. The ceramic filter plate consists of silicon carbide, corundum and other materials. It can effectively remove large inclusions in molten aluminum and adsorb fine inclusion particles with micron size, which can improve surface quality, product performance, microstructure and yield. It is widely used in aluminum profile, aluminum foil, aluminum alloy and other production fields.
Instructions for use of ceramic filter plate:
Check and clean the sundries on the surface of the filter box, and keep the filter box clean and undamaged.
Gently put the filter plate into the filter box, and press the sealing gasket around the filter plate by hand to prevent the aluminum liquid from flowing or floating.
Preheat the filter box and filter plate evenly to make it close to the temperature of molten aluminum. The preheating temperature of the filter plate shall not be lower than 260 ℃. Preheating to remove the adsorbed water is beneficial to help the opening of the initial filter aperture in an instant, and prevent the thermal expansion and cold shrinkage from causing partial hole blockage of the filter plate. Electric or gas heating can be used for preheating, and the normal heating time is 15-30 minutes.
During casting, pay attention to observe the change of aluminum hydraulic head, and maintain the flow control of aluminum liquid with normal demand. The normal initial pressure head is 100-150 mm. When the liquid aluminum begins to pass, the pressure head will drop below 75-100mm, and then the pressure head will slowly increase.
During the normal filtration process, avoid knocking and vibrating the filter plate. At the same time, the launder shall be filled with molten aluminum to avoid too large and too small disturbance of molten aluminum.
After filtration, take out the filter plate in time and clean the filter box.
compressive strength
During the transportation and use of the filter plate, the filter plate must withstand certain external pressure impact, so the compressive strength is also introduced in the standard as one of the criteria to measure the quality of the filter plate. The higher the compressive strength is, the more durable the product is, the better the quality will be, otherwise the reverse is true.
The compressive strength index is determined as above 0.5MPa in the standard.
thermal shock resistance
Thermal and seismic resistance refers to the resistance of ceramic filter plates to damage caused by rapid temperature changes. During the use of foam ceramic filter plate, we require users to gradually preheat the filter plate to the temperature of filtered aluminum melt before use, but some users can't follow this rule well when using. After putting the filter plate in place, the melt is filtered without preheating, so the filter plate is required to have certain thermal shock resistance. The better the thermal shock resistance, the more durable the filter plate will be and the better the quality will be.
